Jason and tonight we have a guest who's been W Making Waves both in and out of the ring following in his father's legendary footsteps Camden Smith better known in the wrestling world as Ty Rose is carving out his own legacy in professional wrestling but that's not all he's doing he's also a talented country musician who's al already shared the stage with some of the industry's biggest Legends we'll explore his journey as a wrestler his music career and what it means to carry the name Rose into the ring and we actually had his dad Pat rose on the show a while back and real quick I thought I would just share a little clip of that standing at an opposing height and weighing in at an all inspiring 235 lbs Pat Rose let's go know my son's training to be a pro wrestler we were getting ready he went to the cornbread Festival music and all that and we're standing there and I'm doing this and I'm saying damn son look you dad's freaking going away all right man can I take this thing off yeah you take it off did the trick though I got to be good friends with Jackie Faro I got to be part of the new fabulous Fargos that I put together man because I love those guys and sorry let me mention something that we do and been doing it since day one first we open up with the national anthem at the end we close with this right here Matthew 419 and he said unto them follow me and I will make you fishes of men here's the catch to it the greatest catch that you and I can make is when someone gets hooked on the love of Jesus Christ oh wow yeah I just want to share a little clip of that D yeah your dad was your dad was a lot of fun that was a that was a great interview yeah man he uh whatever he does all these interviews I'm sitting in the uh usually sitting in the corner of the living room kind of listen to him man but he he really appreciate you guys taking the time to talk to him he's got a great story to tell man so it's really cool to see people uh you know uh I guess give him a platform to share St it real tender-hearted guy too I like that you know re that's someone that's real you know a lot of times you get people that want to try to be something that they're not but yeah there's no faking it with him he's he's the real deal so yeah it was it was it was a really really nice having him on I appreciate you guys that yeah yeah absolutely all right so Camden we're going to start out I want to talk a little bit about first your um your wrestling career okay and then kind of how you got started so like just give us an idea of obviously you grew up in that in that Arena so give us an idea of what made you want to continue in your Father's Footsteps and how you got started and kind of what his thoughts of it were as well yeah so uh you know like I said I've always I've always grown up around it um you know always as a little boy kind of running around backstage and all this stuff and uh really cool there's if you if you order dad's book from The Ring to the real the pat Roose story in the back there's a picture of like a 10-year-old Carrie Morton and an 8-year-old cam Smith locking up and uh so it uh man just kind of growing up around it and um you know when I was a freshman I'm 19 years old now so when I was a freshman in high school fractioned my back usually thereafter I thought I wanted to be a little you know wrestler and I and we got in a ring and take took some bumps and I just couldn't do it I guess and so uh last around this time last year we went to the uh NWA JCP which is uh the frontman for the Smashing Pumpkins Billy Corgan he owns the national wrestling Alliance oh I didn't know that and he was bringing back territories and one of our one of dad's good buddies one of my you know one of our good buddies Joe kazana runs um you know the kazand name in professional wrestling is very Monumental especially in the East Tennessee area so um you know Billy Corgan I guess uh uh was there to announce that you know NWA and Joker promotions were the first territory that they're bringing back and I was there man I got to see all the NWA guys and I was like man this is cool I think I want to do it so and last January I that's when I started started you know training you know to to wrestle so yeah very cool talk to us a little bit about the origin story behind the name Ty rose that you go by in the ring yeah so uh my name my real name is Camden Tai Smith right and um I always joke and say A Smith doesn't wrestle you know so um I didn't want to go by the name cam Smith because I want to keep music I know we're doing this but I want to keep music and professional wrestling very separate because I don't want you know just want to keep them separate I want to work hard at both and build them you know by myself and both you know what I mean and so uh but yeah my middle name is Tai and uh you know I figured Ty Rose you know so yeah um yeah that's a pretty boring story but that's pretty much it my real my middle name is spelled t ye so I just cut off the two e and Bam man there you go so I got to ask you man you know you're early in your legacy and you're building it uh but are you kind of would you prefer to be known as kind of a heel side are you the good side like what he what's kind of reputation that you're trying to build and uh kind of see yourself in the first 6 12 months that's a good question um you know I I always uh you know when I used to play basketball when I in in a Christian I went to a Christian School in my early years of life I guess and uh you know they teach you to you know to be to be loving and all this and I was a lot bigger than the kids of my age so I would you know a few basketball people know what what this means I would set a screen for our point guard or whatever cuz I'm big dude and uh it would like the kid would like fall over cuz he's like 90 lbs I'm over here 100 whatever pounds I am at 12 years old and the parents and I like I for some reason loved it you know I would like smile at him and like you know yeah this is for you you know what I mean so I guess I've always been a you know my dad's always like May you're a he you know so um that is is more comfortable but obviously man with music you don't you don't want to go telling people to shut up on stage so uh yeah go to got to learn how to do both you know so have you had many challenges kind of uh stepping out of I don't want to say the shadow of your dad but I'm sure you're trying to kind of develop your own image right so have you had very many challenges trying to separate yourself from the the pat Rose Legacy or do you kind of not want to separate yourself do you want to kind of keep it like that I'm only on my fourth match so it's kind of a little premature to say I'm still green as grass man you know trying to figure this whole thing out just like with music man you know I was you know I learned the basics and how I became who I am today and how I got the resume that I have with music I did it I went out and I did it and perfected my craft i'm and I'm in that stage with the wrestling man just getting as much ring time as I can um but yeah man to answer your question um I don't know you know it's kind of like I said too a little premature to answer that kind of question but I don't really know yeah I don't really know there's a lot of similarities between the wrestling and music business but there's also a lot of differences and so I'm trying to you know I joke with somebody you know I've been playing music since I was 14 I hate to go back to music all the time but it's what I do how how involved is your dad in your wrestling career like is he your manager or super involved yeah he uh he helped train me along with a guy named Casey cage and a few others but um yeah so super involved but um yeah man just uh I don't know yet you know I like I said I joked with somebody you know I'm kind of at the I've been playing music since I was 14 so now with this wrestling thing I'm I'm kind of still I'm at the I'm back at the bottom of the totem pole we got to work our way up pay dues and the whole nine so um but man it's what it's all about it's the journey and uh but yeah I don't really know yet so I think as you work on your craft give give the audience uh that's maybe never wrestled at all you know you're you're in the in the arena that you're in I know your for matches in but let's talk a little bit about the preparation how long the time frame was it until you felt comfortable enough to say hey man I'm going to put on the put on the boots strap them up and go out there and work like how how did that look for you as a progression standpoint yeah so um you know I started training in January and um I obviously would go to shows and work out with guys beforehand and uh really it was up to my dad um and uh yeah that uh so you know it was just up to my dad I'm just going to say that um he uh he was like well I think you're ready and uh you know you got to learn I mean Dad I'm not saying GO train for two weeks to wrestle but Dad literally trained for two weeks and was on TV you know so um but he also had the uh the amateur wrestling background and and was very athletic as a young you know St straight out of high school you know basically the same age he started wrestling 19 I did too okay I didn't know so so yeah man um that's pretty much how it went man just kind of kept working out and kept learning until Dad was like all right I think you're ready and and I say that you obviously I was put in the ring with somebody who who led me and um to took care of me and stuff so yeah yeah I know I know that um well this wasn't one of the major points but with your dad it was wrestling and fishing do you do are you a a big a big angler as well like your dad or man I don't know there's the extent of my bass fishing goes it there's a pond across Trenton and there's a sweet lady um and they stalked their pawn and so all my buddies you know would be be uh you know give me crap CU I show up with uh you know like professional rig stuff you know at a little Pond uh but man it's uh it's cool I I let you know I obviously turn all my friends on to all that all that good stuff but uh yeah man that's pretty much the extent of my fishing is a a pond that's kind of been stocked so I tip my cap to that craft and uh you know the long-term goals and stuff let's let's transition a little bit into the music you know you've been doing that right around the time I met you there in Knoxville Tennessee there at the East Tennessee fishing show you know you were you were already you know kind of launching that music career it's been nice to see you driving and putting in work and seeing these venues man it's like you know you kind of vicariously root for people you know what I mean and and really put ourselves behind them what's maybe a general radius that you kind of travel from your home base to some of these shows to give somebody an idea of of what you're doing to uh kind of get your name out there right now yeah man anywhere that uh there's really no limitations man any anywhere that uh that that we can you know and uh We've we've played pretty much all of the southeast so far haven't been uh we haven't had the opportunity to go um you know fly or you know travel super super long distances somewhere but uh yeah pretty much that you know Southeastern you know Georgia Tennessee Alabama um I don't think we've hit Florida yet I don't know but uh got to make your way over to Indiana I know man that would be so sick man yeah that's cool so so how did you get started with the music I know you said you've been playing since you were 14 but did you if I remember right I think your dad said you started in church like playing in church and that sort of thing yeah so uh you know some on my uh on my mother's side of the family uh they're all preachers my dad's side obviously he's a wrestler so you kind of get to mix of both and here's you know here's what you get I guess but uh there's four drummers in my family and uh that's kind of how I got started man playing drums in church and then when I was a freshman High scho school I just I realized that you couldn't bring a drum kit to a party so I uh I learned how to play guitar and then I started uh I wasn't good I didn't have the coordination to like shred yeah just uh kind of being interested in all that and uh man like I said I just learned the basics and I just kept doing it until it sounded all right you know when did you play your first show outside of like I guess your first secular show yeah so there was uh I was on the wrestling team my freshman year and I was no good at wrestling um but there were two wrestlers that had a birthday close to a time and they rent out a little cabin in rifon which is a kind of a smaller Community right outside Triton where I live and uh man I didn't even have a bass player it's just me two guitars and a drums and one little speaker and um yeah we just kind of kind of played played through that and they loved it man you know but uh that's pretty much my first uh first show I I guess you know I mean with the load in sound check the whole n you know so it was a good time we made the best of it and your genre is country right country Yeah country rock I always joke you know we always uh always say you know we we blast rap music on stage and we're walking up and we all have long hair wearing cowboy boots playing there you go yeah who's a musical influence for you man who do who do you kind of like in your game too your music game too my uh my biggest musical influence man probably is co wetel and he's a guy out of Texas um if youall haven't heard him go listen to him great stuff he'd probably be shocked actually I was too and uh man I remember I saw him uh you know his his we saw him at sbird which is U you know my my uncle was the president of sbird so that was kind of my classroom and they came and opened up for a band and uh CO's manager and my dad got to be friends because he's a wrestling fan and stuff and they got his tickets next time they come around each time they came around cha the V got a little bit bigger but uh man I we were side stage and like I can see the crowd but they play rap music coming off stage and just the Swagger and just the man I can't I I I get chills talking about it man that that moment right there changed my life and that moment I knew what I wanted to do yeah and that was to entertain people I I love the people down you know I know you're a little further south but at the same time the southern hospitality is at its finest man the people were just so nice and accommodating hey I'm going to throw you an opportunity here you got your guitar there um I know we've talked about your dad this show's about you but we've mentioned him now if I'm not mistaken you have a tribute song about him is that correct I do yeah I uh would you mind would you mind uh put being put on the spot you know maybe play a few bars of that particular song because I think it's a good tribute and and he'll get a big smile out of as well I'm going to turn it over to you yeah so uh and we play a little bit of it the whole thing what you want me do oh you can do the whole thing man it's your world it's your world I will I will[Music] people they have Heroes some are big and tall some have super powers stops for some do wrong let me tell you about mine cuz I think that it's about time I put the way you feel into song my hero is the man that calls me my hero is the man who reminds me still good to be done my hero is human and yeah he's done good and bad most of all my hero is my dad[Music] every time I search his name his old matches they pull up I can sit and watch for hours and watch my dad what he L sometimes things get hard and him and I both loely but one thing that'll never change I got him has me my hero is the man that calls me his son my hero is the man who reminds me good to be done human yeah he's done good and bad most of all my hero is is my[Music] day most of all my hero is my D so I I guarantee just from knowing your dad that the first time you played that for him that he had tears coming down his face like I have no doubt yeah man I uh I'm a real I'm just like him man we're you know we're I feel like we're uh we're pretty tough but uh you know we're really sentimental so when something means a lot oh God you know yeah and uh man it even now even just a second ago I uh I don't know man just get that feeling and it's just like oh you know just man I love my dad and he's he's I love that man that's so awesome especially now you know now it's you don't see that a lot you don't you don't I mean not that kids don't love their father and their father doesn't love the kids but you just don't see that kind of bond that much these days between a father and a son you know it's not like it's not like it used to be I love that that is amazing I'm telling you it's inspirational when you see that set up and You' driving and you're doing the Facebook lives or whatever you do and you know you guys are right together and and don't laugh at me man but it seems like you're doing all the driving right cuz that's what younger guys do older guys just want to sit there and watch you put in the miles I'm not saying he doesn't drive but I'm just throwing a little jab at him but you know what I mean you got to do the driving right he's uh he's he's made me he's I don't know if I've earned it but he's made me pay my dues and he says I've so there but uh man there's one funny story we were coming out I think Montgomery which it really isn't a bad drive but Lord I don't know what I think I was going to school that day or whatever but man it was like one in the morning and we're hit I 59 that's a straight shot pretty much man we were so tired and I'd pull over then he drive and he gets tired and he pull over and we would like switch every mile dude that was so funny he just had to be there I don't know but we were uh the other day we were actually I connected my phone to the TV and Screen shared man we went through his Facebook and watch those old lives and just kind of reminisced oh I remember that show oh I remember stopping at the uh Lost Highway Memorial yep sign on the interstate and man I don't know man my uh my dad's a my dad's my dad's a great guy and I'm very very very lucky to uh to be his son I don't know jeez getting choked up already God I am too man but don't don't ever lose that man I'm 45 years old and I'm going to tell you right now my dad's 75 and I talk to my dad three or four times a week and I got to be honest with you a lot of it's just bragging about what I'm doing and I hate to be like that but it just keeps him kind of vibranting in that moment as opposed to just not man hey so we're going to switch bases a little bit here Mosaic Minds uh as you will know is kind of just a managerie of everything right all all walks of life and stuff so he did a good job on the music part we've talked a little wrestling let's switch back into uh a promo cut here let's go over a recent Feud I know your four matches in so bear with me but I know I saw a guy with a mark on his head maybe and vice versa I know you got lumped up a little bit I know you've had at least a feud with someone that maybe uh attacked Dad if I'm not mistaken and you're making some retribution for that so let let's talk a little bit let's let's talk a little bit kind of off record on record if you will take it any way any direction you want there's two separate people okay the guy had a cut on his the guy that had a cut on his head he didn't attack nobody he just he just made me mad but okay uh there was a guy got to get the story right his uh his name's Elijah Drago and he come come to America from uh Ukraine and uh man he he's huge looks like Le like Lex Luger like Prime Lex Luger he looks just like I mean seriously and uh we did a little my first real I guess angle we uh I did a deal with sing the anthemy come out you know and we were in Gasson Alabama and I've played Gasson a lot so I was like nobody tells me what I can't can't saying you know and um man he hit me freaking you know got me right there you know and all this and then attack Dad too he's trying to save me the whole night man it was just it was a rough time rough night and G and I've had a lot of those but that was that probably tastes the cake for the roughest time but yeah hey so let's stay professional on this question here because I know there's a lot of hard work uh talk to me about the bumps and bruises though you know I mean regardless of a guy's is really good and you mesh well with that person you know you know and I'm asking cuz I don't know but I've been an athlete my whole life are you ice bath and afterwards are you uh not wanting to get in the ring shortly after like walk me through that maybe postmatch over your next 24 to 48 hours post match man get in my sweatpants drive home go to sleep no I love it love it man because there's so many there's so many guys man like that that that that fight through the hurt and I feel like yeah you know okay everybody else's back hurts you I mean so it's like and plus man I'm I'm really lucky dude like I haven't I have yet at least knock on wood but uh I haven't I haven't done the whole hurting thing yet you know obviously it's just like playing a football game on a Friday night you're a little sore but yep man um you know nothing crazy but I have a lot of respect for guys that have been doing this for a long time that that that fight through that pain and still show up every every day really just giving giving giving their bodies um to the people man so just really all the the respect goes to those guys but as far as me man I'm uh you know plus I don't want to be like Dad I'm hurting you know what I mean you know whatever go ahead Nick we we actually had a we actually had a guy on here um couple weeks ago named well I'll give a shout out to him named Reggie Edwards and he's here local in um in Indiana but he does um he does a lot of the I don't know if this is the right terminology but a lot of the script writing right for like the how you know how the how the plot's going to go you know and and that sort of thing and he also he also does um what's it's the is it the front row report the the pictures he do he does concert he'd be a great Network for you because going to say he'd be perfect he gets a press passes for like uh you know Dave Matthews Band those those type caliber people he interviewed Alice Cooper he'd be a great guy and in return I'd like to connect with your guy there um the musician and the wrestler you know Corgan there because you know there's there's some connection there there's some cities that maybe the territory could grow so I think I think the thing that I want to have you do is is throw a shout out to the company that made your jacket for you that black and white jacket that says your name like that's unheard of because when I was growing up that was the only jacket you had I mean everybody had that of your favorite sports team IU basketball is my deal but how did how did you come across getting that man that had to be a good a good find or a good buy you had to work a little bit for that yeah so uh funny enough there's a picture and dad had we don't I don't have any of that stuff you know springborn stuff and um there's a picture um of him wearing wearing the jacket basically pretty much the same thing that I have and I have I had him one m so anybody could really get this man man I went to Amazon and I got two jackets and and two jackets that look you know plain black whatever and there's a sweet lady here you know I forgot her name I'm horrible at names but uh you know you know who you are but she does Dad's hats at the hoat Rose hats and so uh she's done a few hats for us C with music hats I was like hey is there any way just based off this picture that you could do Pat Rose Honky Tonk and Tor jacket and a Ty Rose Honky Tonk T jacket I've always thought T jackets were super sick man like all the old country guys Hank Junior you know Charlie Daniels are those guys and we actually have a you know Tim Winnington out here in Trenton he's a he's a guy that collects antiques he gave us two authentic paint Junior Tour jackets man so always loved Tim witon but anyway that kind of got my love for touring tour jackets man and if if I ever get on tour you best bet that all my guys are having tour jackets but oh yeah oh yeah I was like if I give you these two jackets like do you think you do this and man she's like yeah I have it done in a few days and I went up to her house and got them and and and I took them out thing and man I you know it it was just so cool man because it was almost like I was holding a piece of um history his stuff old school memoril new new new threads on it yeah yeah yeah absolutely but if anybody ask it's ring more there you go there you go there you go so let me ask you Cameron when it comes to since you're doing you're doing both and I'm not going to ask you like which one's more important or which one is your priority but since you're doing both does does your wrestling career ever influence your music and vice versa does your music ever influence um wrestling uh I feel like stylistically yeah you know the important like there's a lot of stuff that I've learned through music that um that has been ins steal in me um that I apply to wrestling you know um I feel like one is um your look obviously I don't have ABS right but my gear looks good I have good quality gear um like you know the jacket I took the time to make myself Stu look good and and same thing with uh with uh Music Man like you always got to you got to be a star with music don't act like one you get what I'm saying but look like one man get your clothes from somewhere that man that's hard to find I wonder where he got that shirt yeah yeah you get what I'm saying not the shirt that you see hanging up at Target right it's like man I wonder where he got those boots those are like one of a kind looking boots you know so I do a lot of deep digging for uh for for stage clothes because I just uh man it's all about what you see you know so um yeah that that's just one example but there's a lot of things that um you know apply to each and I think it's you know like cutting promos isn't really an issue for me I feel like I've always um naturally excelled at that and and my vocabulary and being being I guess well spoken I don't know um I've always I feel like I've excelled that because I mean my dad you know at 3 years old threw me up on the radio and was like you know talk to people you know and music man you get to learn how to talk to all kinds of different people in all kinds of different scenarios so they kind of go hand in hand I think when you wrestle too man having that mic Talent can separate you I mean I'm going to be brutally honest with you I think some of the most famous wrestlers of all time were better on the mic than they were in the ring but if you got them both you're kind of throwing uppercuts so let me throw you a left field one here man I put you in a time capsule for six months you're not touching a guitar you're not touching the ring okay I'm not skilled at either one okay but tell me what one would be easier after a six-month layoff of not touching either one to feel like hey I still got this music for sure because I've been doing it longer you know what I mean yeah so it wouldn't be as hard to I guess lose the touch yeah I mean wrestling wrest I mean you know but it would be like you you would feel it you know but uh probably music if if I had to not do something and come jump right back into it I can do music and I that I'm sure the answer answer will change later on down the road but maybe yeah I might say both might say one or the other whatever but for right now yeah music for sure just it's interesting that you know that both both of your both of those things wrestling and then your music that's uh that there's all there's a lot of travel and you know like that kind of thing involved so what's you got any good stories or what do you like what do you like most about being on the road it's a good question man I love uh I don't know man I just love traveling and just the feeling of man I'm on the road we're Road dogs you know what I mean like I love it man I would like that I always tell Dad I always tell Dad you know as far as music I felt like I was uh you know the first time I was at a bar I was 11 you know what I mean so and uh and that was a very controlled environment obviously it was a learning experience it wasn't nothing stupid I was responsible and so my parents I have a really good family that that put a good head on my shoulders um but uh man just I don't know just being just just being on the road dude I just loved it especially you know you know I'm sorry for mentioning my dad so much well I'm not but you get what I'm saying I uh I just enjoy being on the road with him and just making miles and just going to places that you didn't really know and just I don't know man it's just it's a different feeling especially when you're there like I'm here to play music yeah we're musicians traveling in you know what I mean like that's cool it's just fun it's just a fun time but stories man I don't know I don't want to get nobody in trouble I got you yeah I I think I can add to that a little bit I think you know correct me if I'm wrong but you go no new city you've never been in and it's just that person that might offer you hey come over for dinner after the show or hey man you know I brought I brought X for you it's just you're really a threat of that local community and and I'm telling you man the south I mean I've been to Gunnersville a couple times fishing I've been to Tennessee the last 10 years and it's just those people are just genuine people you know there's a Cheesy song that talks about the iced tea or whatever and then they kind of direct direct them back to the person you know what I'm saying I mean I don't even I probably Butch that scenario there but what I'm saying is the people are just genuinely nice people and they truly care and want to see you succeed so talk a little bit about maybe your influences of uh Georgia and then give us a geographic Swatch maybe a 60 to 90 mile radius of where you are so we can kind of understand geographically where you're at so I I saw the video dad was talking about look at Mountain look at Mountain is a very uh Niche kind of thing you know what I mean you have to be in the hiking to understand what that is so we're pretty much 15 minutes south of Chattanooga Tennessee Okay so that's where we are but man you know my my my goal with music is to kind of tell to let everybody know what it's like to be from Tron Georgia and from day County you know I love it more than anything in the world I love home it's my home you know I just I love it I love everything about it I love the people you know like everything else there's a few bad apples there's a few there's there's some situations that we don't like but man I love home you know I love yeah I love getting wake up every day and you know um like you said man God's country bro I just love I love it here man and when I when I'm when I'm away when I'm away for a while I get a little homesick man but um I just I just love it love love being here and you know like the Forester Sisters was a very well-known country uh country group there were a bunch of sisters and you know guys like Pat Rose and Norman Blake who lives you know in rise and fun right outside day Trenton Georgia and day County man like those are legends you know what I mean and um you know they may not be mainstream people but they were at one time and and they're they're Legends straight up and so yeah um I just my goal is to kind of be on that list one day you know but geographically man we're on the very top leftand corner of Georgia there you go I went to school I went to school in Alabama played music in Tennessee lay my head down Georgia so yeah I I I lived right in Illinois and IND indana border and i' Jog a half mile and I'd always tell my family that I jogged out of state that night so that was kind of ongoing joke there um what are some of your other Hobbies so besides music and wrestling what do you what else do you like to do man you know um unfortunately you know 2023 um of June June 2023 excuse me we uh we lost my M and uh my grandparents are my world man and uh now it's just my papa that's year left and and I was just you know I was just at his house before I came home and and uh got on here with you guys man but my hobbies really are just uh you know I say that because it's unfortunate that it took the loss of somebody I've never lost anybody but it took her losing her to kind of shot my priorities back in line Y man I just love spending time with family I love being being home I don't I don't go out much you know and when I do I get tired I'm like man I want to go home you know whatever this this this fast stuff ain't for me but uh man I just love spending time with family and just uh soaking all that good stuff up man that's great it's it's it's it's so cool to see your progression cuz take this as a compliment you know I'm not a small guy right I was a basketball player you know I can hold my own but like I saw you when you were 14 or 15 and I was I was teasing your dad after you like got a concession or whatever and I was like man he looks like he could pick me up and throw me through a table right now as a 14-year-old you you have an old Spirit to you man you act like if if I didn't know who you were I would say that you're 10 years 15 years older than what you are and that think that's actually a compentent that's not looks age it's just it's just the way you carry yourself man it's a breath of fresh air to hear a young man like yourself that has his priorities right he has his career going he's chasing two paths that he loves he's doing a legacy for his dad man like what what what family wouldn't be proud of that and then the fact that you mention your grandparents you know unsolicited if you will so you that's important to you man that's some deep stuff but I just uh you know I tip my cap to you from the time I till I time I met you today you know to back when I first met you man it's just been it's just been so cool to see and and you're forging your own path man it's just like uh you know I'm I'm super proud of you I'm super proud of your family but I'm super proud of you and I know your dad is too for sure AB Absol you could tell just just from the interview that we did with him you could you could tell how proud he was of you he talked he talked a lot about him didn't he and yeah what's what's so cool about this is as you see the journey and you see the Mosaic mind you know we're talking about people from all walks of life right and what we've notice is is the connection is amazing because a guy like you I would hang out and consider a friend if I didn't know anyone like if I just ran into you or let's just say I got a ticket to watch one of your shows and and let's be real with each other let's just say I was there to watch another performer man that dude sounds like a cool dude you know he's sitting here interacting with the crowd because it's about getting there early it's about seeing it set up it's about being the performer and then quite frankly sometimes it's about rushing out of there and driving 75 mph to get home just to get a nap to go to practice the next morning so I get it man you're hustling and you're working hard and and and you're paying some dividends and you're making inroads yeah yeah let's let me ask you one last thing and then we'll get some of how people can find you you know your social media and that kind of stuff but because we talked so much about your dad what would you what what's what would you say that the best advice that your dad ever gave you was cuz I'm sure there's something you can look back on and be like man he was so right maybe you didn't think so at the time but what what would you said the best advice that your dad ever gave you was man be yourself be humble and uh it's okay if I say a bad word stop go ahead fire fire but don't take no [ __ ] from nobody yeah yep three things that he taught me y so right there and I apply that to everyday life I try to you know sometimes I'm wrong sometimes you know whatever but um man I just uh look at every day I try to especially now recently in life try to look at uh life is you know every day is a blessing man I I I I didn't graduate high school I got my GED and that's because I chose music over over education and and you know that's that's a thing that I dealt with myself whatever I'm cool talk about it because you know it's uh I didn't know this but it's actually a really common thing you know the GED thing but man I I got a job now and I'm I'm working and man working wrestling and playing music man I just you know I'm super grateful right now you know yeah you seem very happy you both you and your dad seem very happy like I I'm a little jealous because I mean I there there are days that I you know I mean every time every time I've seen your dad and even the clips I've seen you you guys just always seem like you're you're full of joy you know and that's that's a that's a pretty pretty thing a pretty big thing to covet you know biggest thing is you can't put over the negativity man or it's going to eat you alive you know you just can't you can't all right whatever you know what I mean I liking throwing a new battery on a car in the winter man bigger fish to fry bigger fish to fry yeah exactly good fishing on the next yeah on the next one yeah so talk to us a little bit about maybe uh anything that we haven't mentioned how do I get how do I network with you you know tie in music and wrestling not telling you what to do but I'm going to be quiet and let you kind of throw out what you want so I can track you on uh on I don't have Tik Tok for my wrestling because I don't know what I post you know but uh on Tik Tok Facebook and Instagram man you can follow me my thank you so much for being on Camden you know and what would be really cool in the future too is to have a an episode with both you and Pat on there I think that would be fun yeah get you feed a little bit getting you fired up about an upcoming concert or deal that that would be let's do that it'll be fun be fun hey I really hope to visit you and watch A Match or watch a concert I say that with full meaning cuz you know if we could find that middle of the road venue so maybe your Tennessee venues the you know that's only 3 and a half 4 hours for us that's that's doable uh okay cool not
